Multi Terampil Indonesia recently hosted a promotional event for online Chinese learning via the Open University of China (OUC)’s  MyEChinese distance Chinese teaching platform (cloud space).

Journalists from local newspaper Harian Nusantara were invited to the event and subsequently released reports about it.

Multi Terampil Indonesia is dedicated to using distance educational technology to provide access to quality education for students, in particular those from remote areas. To date, 24 Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Learning Centres have been established across Indonesia, all equipped with the Internet, distance learning devices, learning resources and teaching assistants. On 13th November 2014, Multi Terampil Indonesia signed an MOU with OUC. According to the MOU, the two sides plan to embark on cooperation including the development of local Chinese teachers in Indonesia, and Chinese language and culture education. They will then carry out non-degree and degree education in other specialties based on the previous items.

The MyEChinese distance Chinese teaching cloud space is a Chinese learning platform developed by the OUC Chinese Language Centre, integrating a school homepage and online teaching and management, as well as providing rich resources for Chinese learning, teacher training, and the teaching of Chinese culture.
