On 28 January, the Open University of China (OUC) launched its 2026 New Year Gala, with the theme of "Embracing New Journeys, Writing New Chapters".

OUC colleges, schools and departments presented meticulously curated performances spanning songs, dances, instrumental music, skits, yoga, Tai Chi, poetry recitations, and magic acts. These vibrant performances vividly showcased the enthusiasm and pioneering spirit of the OUC community and conveyed the faculty and staff's joy in welcoming the Spring Festival and their dedication to advancing open education.
