Gu Liang is an associate professor at the Open University of China.
He has worked for many years in the teaching and teaching administration of electronic circuitry and computer hardware. Gu has independently or jointly authored many textbooks on this programme, with the combined word count reaching 1 million. He also teaches classes on TV, broadcast by China Educational Television.
Professor Gu has designed and produced distance teaching resources for this programme, such as digital multimedia teaching resources, etc.
From 2006 to 2010, he was a member of the Ministry of Education's Higher Education Information Technology Teaching Supervisory Committee.
In 2005, he went to the Open University of UK as a visiting scholar.
In 2006, he attended the ICDE (International Council for Open and Distance Education) annual conference in India and presented an academic paper.
