Tan Dingzhong is chief editor and lecturer for the OUC’s Sensor and Testing Technology course. He obtained his PhD in Control Technology and Control Engineering in July 2000. He is now a professor at the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Harbin Engineering University.
He taught courses such as Sensor and Testing Technology, Electromechanical System Design and Simulation, Electromechanical Integration Design, Mechatronics, Microcontroller Technology, and Industrial Control Computers.
The educational reform activities he has participated in include construction of mechatronics and discipline construction of special auxiliary equipment and system of naval architecture and ocean engineering for the “211” Project.
He is an expert in sensor and testing technology and electromechanical integration technology.
The scientific research projects he has finished include “A Study of Quartz Capsule Processing Methods”, “Designing a New Type of Quartz Pressure Sensor”, “Study on the Machining Mechanism of Quartz Used for Sensors”, “Designing a Comprehensive Parameter Tester for Quartz Pendulous Reed”, “Master Control Set of Target Boats on Water Surface”, “System of Down-hole Pressure and Accelerated Speed Testing” and “A Study on the Soft Grasp Technique of Underwater Catching Manipulators”.
