1.Training objectives and standards
This programme is designed to train advanced engineering professionals. Graduates should be equipped with the ability to conduct engineering design, construction and management, and the preliminary ability to carry out applied research and development.

Professional requirements:

(1) A solid grasp of the basic theory, knowledge and skills of this profession;
(2) Skills in normal civil engineering structures design, comprehensive construction management, and experimentation and research.
(3) Acquisition of primary scientific research and technology development training;
(4) Be good at self-directed learning and be able to obtain up-to-date knowledge in the field of civil engineering;
(5) The ability to speak a foreign language to a certain level and have the ability to read foreign language materials for the course;
(6) Basic computing skills.

Civil Engineering programme has three orientations: Constructional Engineering, Construction Management, and Roads and Bridges.

Constructional Engineering: Civil Engineering Mechanics (undergraduate), Civil Engineering Mechanics (undergraduate), Principles of Concrete Structure Design, Engineering Geology, Engineering Economics and Management, Civil Engineering CAD, Architectural Structure Experimentation, Design of Concrete Structures (A), Steel Structures (undergraduate).

Construction Management: Civil Engineering Mechanics (undergraduate), Civil Engineering Mechanics (undergraduate), Principles of Concrete Structure Design, Engineering Geology, Engineering Economics and Management, Civil Engineering CAD, Architectural Structure Experimentation, Construction Supervision, High-rise Building Construction.

Roads and Bridges: Civil Engineering Mechanics (undergraduate), Civil Engineering Mechanics (undergraduate), Principles of Concrete Structure Design, Engineering Geology, Engineering Economics and Management, Civil Engineering CAD, Road Engineering, Bridge Engineering (undergraduate).


4.Graduation
The minimum number of credits required for graduation is 71. Graduates obtaining the required number of credits are awarded a nationally-recognized graduation certificate of higher education and a bachelor’s of engineering.
