Professor Gao Hang is a professor and a doctorate student supervisor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics of Northeast Normal University. He acts as president assistant and director of the teaching affairs office.

Moreover, he also does other part-time social work. From June 2009 to June 2010, he undertook the Teacher Education Department’s topic of the Ministry of Education, and worked as a leader of the expert team to develop examination standards for senior middle school teacher qualifications. From June 2010 to December 2011, he undertook the Teacher Education Department’s topic of the Ministry of Education, led the formulation of the mathematics examination syllabus for middle school teacher qualifications and worked as a leader of the mathematics examination questions setting team. From August 2010 to December 2011, he undertook the Teacher Education Department’s topic of the Ministry of Education, and worked as a deputy leader of the expert team to develop standards for the programme of middle school teachers. In May 2012, he undertook the Elementary Education Department’s task of the Ministry of Education, and worked as a member of the expert team to check and approve mathematics teaching materials for junior middle schools.
