Wang Chuanli works as a lecturer in International Economic Law in the OUC (CCRTVU) law programme.

She is president of the School of International Law, China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), a doctoral supervisor, and a member of the CUPL Academic Committee. She is an expert consultant for the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality and vice president of the Beijing International Law Society. She is an arbitrator of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and a participant in the drafting group of the Foreign Trade Law of China. She has several times led the compilation of required textbooks for judicial examinations, and participated in setting questions for the examinations. She is a guidance specialist of the examinations. She has worked at Columbia University School of Law as a senior visiting scholar.

Her works and awards are as follows.
‘Introduction to International Economics Law’ was awarded the first prize of national excellent teaching materials in 1992;
‘Comparative Foreign Investment Law’ was awarded the first prize of excellent achievements in the First University Social Sciences Research of the National Education Commission in 1995; and excellent academic works in the Second University Presses of the National Education Commission;
‘International Economic Law’ (as the first deputy editor) was awarded as an excellent achievement for young and middle-aged teachers by the National Education Commission in 1996;
‘International Trade Law’ (as editor of the teaching material for modern law science during the Ninth Five-Year Plan Period of the Ministry of Justice) was awarded the third prize of excellent scientific research achievements for the Ninth Five-Year Plan Period of the Ministry of Justice in 2000;
‘Market Economy and Law Against Unfair Competition’ was awarded as excellent papers during the Eighth Five-Year Plan Period of universities directly under the Ministry of Justice in December 1996.
